Deals, Discounts & Bundles: 2nd August 2025

Deals Aug 3, 2025

It's time for your weekly look at just a small selection of the gaming deals on offer across the web! A little bit of a threadbare edition this week - apologies - been a very busy week and weekend!

Fanatical

As always there's a nice variety of bundles available at Fanatical.

In addition to the below bundles, there's also a new VIP Mystery Bundle available, promising the usual mix of trash, hidden gems and the odd AAA game too!

Co-op Bundle

I think for me one of the best trends in gaming over the last 10 years or so is the return of couch-coop games - especially the chaotic kind that will either make or break friendships. This co-op bundle has a mix of these as well as the more traditional co-op experience.

Some games I think look interesting in this one:

  • Bang-on Balls: Chronicles: an early access 3D platformer which takes cues and inspiration from all of your favourite classic platformers.
  • Blazing Sails: a first person pirate game with a variety of game modes including a unique take on the battle royale genre.

Choices: Bang-On Balls: Chronicles, G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra, Boto: Byteland Overclocked, Bish Bash Bots, Tallowmere 2: Curse of the Kittens, Asterogues, Hellbreach: Vegas, Blazing Sails, Human Fall Flat, FOREWARNED, Bunker Invaders, Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire, Young Souls (Sold Out)

Cozy Games Bundle

For me, it's hard to put into words what a cozy game is. It's not a genre, or a formula of features or gameplay. It's just a feeling. And the games on offer in this bundle certainly fit the bill here. Featuring relaxed gameplay and highly stylised graphics, you're certain to find a game to unwind with after a long day at work here.

A couple of highlights:

  • Coffee Shop Tycoon: run the coffee shop of your dreams, from the choice of beans, through to choosing the zany menu options you decide to put on.
  • Hokko Life: transform your quiet village into the perfect town in a game clearly inspired by Animal Crossing.

Choices: Outlnders, Hidden in my Paradse, Pixelshire, Re:Fresh, Lake, My Little Life, Button City, Alchemy Story, Hidden Cats Triple Pack, Lemon Cake, Bunny Park, Coffee Shop Tycoon, Cyrano, Hokko Life, Sticky Business, No Place Like Home (Sold Out), The Witness (Sold Out

Killer Bundle

Credit: Fanatical

A rare bundle on Fanatical that isn't of the Build Your Own variety. This bundle features four highly regarded games, three of which are Steam Deck Verified!

  • RoboCop: Rogue City: a seemingly very common inclusion in games bundles at the moment after the release of the standalone expansion. Take your cybernetically enhanced cop out on to the streets to fight crime in Old Detroit.
  • Chambers: build a posse, drink booze and shoot guns in this sandbox, low-fi boomer shooter.
  • The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos: an interesting title that somewhat lampshades the traditional fantasy RPG. Explore a fantasy world full of a wealth of enemies and a little (or a lot) of absurdism.
  • Wolfstride: a heavily stylised RPG where players inherit a decrepit fighting mech, and decide to use it to enter an elite fighting tournament.

GOG

There's one massive bundle that we need to talk about over at GOG this week - the Freedom to Buy Bundle.

As you might be aware from our edition last week (and plenty of other publicity), itch.io and Steam were pressured into removing hundreds of adult games that were completely legal, as a result of a campaign by a conservative Australian group.

GOG is offering a bundle of 13 games for free. GOG is also encouraging users to share their protest at the events on X, if that's your thing (it's not mine).

Humble Bundle

Two bundles available over at Humble this week!

Pixel & Cartoon Enthusiasts GOG.COM Bundle

Credit: Humble Bundle

A rare Humble-GOG collaboration! This one offers a variety of indie games with the DRM-free goodness of GOG!

This one once again benefits the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, providing care for children in need in hospitals across the USA and Canada.

As always, here are a couple of games in this bundle that look interesting to me:

  • Through the Darkest of Times: in this heavily stylised historical strategy game, players need to lead a small band of resistance fighters in the early days of Nazi Germany.
  • Space Grunts 2: a really cool looking deck builder where players need to explore their way through a space station, facing off against aliens, all with the sort of over-the-top cheesiness you'd expect from a 60s sci-fi movie.

Better With 4 Friends Co-op Bundle

Like Fanatical, Humble also has a bundle of coop games, but a different set are available in this one, including a few really popular titles!

This one is in the support of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

  • Moving Out: feel like murdering your friends? Play this game and try your best to run a removalist business.
  • Embr: take on the role of a squad of heroic firefighters. But also steal the valuables of your clients... interesting.
