Deals, Discounts & Bundles: 26th July 2025
As usual, it's time to take a look at just a small selection of the game deals available from a few different reputable storefronts.
Fanatical
After the excitement of Bundle Bash last week, Fanatical is back to their usual recurring bundles this week.
Best of Platinum Collection

In this encore bundle, Fanatical are offering a selection of games that have previously been offered as part of the recurring Platinum Collection bundle during the year so far.
A couple of the strong games featuring in this bundle are:
- LEGO Bricktales, where players get to explore a variety of beautiful LEGO-based dioramas and use their brick building skills to solve a variety of different puzzles.
- Frostpunk: Game of the Year Edition, a city-building survival strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic frozen world.
- SteamWorld Classics Bundle, a four game pack featuring SteamWorld Dig, Dig 2, Heist and Quest.
Choices: Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip, LEGO Bricktales SteamWorld Build, SteamWorld Classics Bundle, FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, Dice & Fold, Frostpunk: Game of the Year Edition, 63 Days, Ziggurat 2, Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines, Beyond Galaxyland, Completely Sketchy, Aeero Complete Collection, The Holy Gosh Darn, Castle of Alchemists, Tiny Thor, New Star GP, Bravery and Greed, Bramble: The Mountain King, Immortal Hunters
Bento Bundle - Otoku Edition

As always, the Bento Bundle provides a selection of anime-inspired games to sink your teeth into.
A few games of interest for me in this selection:
- SunnySide, a cel-shaded Japanese sim game. In amongst the mix is some JRPG-style combat and The Sims-inspired decoration.
- Coromon, a pixel JRPG whose similarity to any other title where you capture, train and battle a team of companion animals is purely coincidental.
Choices: SunnySide, CuteBite, Top Hat Studios Double Pack, Night Loops, Mokoko X, A Little Lily Princess, Vampires Dawn 3 - The Crimson Realm, Magical Diary: Horse Hall, Kraken Academy!!, Steel Vampire, Arto, Troublemaker, Coromon.
Play on the Go Elite Collection

If like me you're a big fan of your portable, the Play on the Go Elite Collection will help get your library filled with a multitude of steam deck verified games. This one has a few big titles on it so is worth a look even if you don't have a portable.
Check these ones out:
- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, an honestly fantastic improvement on the classic Tomb Raider games that I think deserves to be called more than a simple remaster.
- Our Adventure Guild, where the player inherits the guild master position of their local adventurer guild, and must manage their members, craft supplies and equipment and accept quests.
Choices: INDIKA, The Case of the Golden Idol, Our Adventure Guild, Until Then, Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, #DRIVE Rally, REVEIL, The Invincible, American Arcadia, Mika and The Witch's Mountain, Wrestling Empire, Laika: Aged Though Blood, Escape From Mystwood Mansion, Grandma, No!, Yield! Fall of Rome, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter
GOG.COM
There's the usual variety of sales and promos available over at GOG.
Weekly Deals

The offering isn't particularly strong in GOG's Weekly Deals this week, but there's more than a few strong titles worth checking out if they're on your wishlist.
Check these ones out for size:
- Shadows of Doubt, a game I spent a lot of time playing during its early access stint. It's a procedurally generated, voxel-based detective simulator where players need to catch killers and take on side jobs to make a name for themselves as an investigator in a corporate-controlled future.
- 8-Bit Hordes, the follow up to 8-Bit Armies from the same team that brought you Star Wars: Empire at War (an absolute classic that needs a remaster, btw!). A very cool, very colourful and very simple RTS game.
Anything Goes Promo

As the name suggests, there's no clear theme to the offerings in the Anything Goes Promo. There's some really interesting choices though, including some I've not heard of before.
Have a look at these ones:
- Sonority, a game I'd not heard of before, but when I read through I was enamoured by it. It's a puzzle game where the key to progressing is the use of music!
- Wartales, where players get to lead a band of mercenaries in the rubble of a medieval kingdom ruined by plague and greed.
Summer Classics Promo

This one features a whole load of classic games, including a few Certified Good Old Games. There's a few of my low key favourites in there as well.
My picks of the bunch:
- Submarine Titans: a pretty damn cool real-time strategy set at the bottom of the ocean - featuring three civilisations and depth-based strategies.
- Hogs of War: a game that was a 3D Worms game before 3D Worms. I remember playing the PS1 demo of this game endlessly back in the day.
- Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior, where players take on the role of a lone Tau Fire Warrior stranded behind Imperial lines, and it only gets worse from there.
Build & Manage Promo

My type of sale! Plenty of excellent choices here in the Build & Manage Promo. There's also a lot of Good Old Games in there as well.
Here's some choices for you to consider:
- Theme Hospital, an absolute classic of a game - need I say more? Build and manage your hospital to deal with a large variety of weird and wacky diseases, all with a funny, sarcastic PA to keep you on your toes.
- Children of the Nile Complete, a 3D spiritual successor to Pharaoh (which I wrote about the game manual of last week), and developed by Tilted Mill Entertainment, a studio formed by some of the senior members of Pharaoh developer Impression Games.
Chucklefish Publisher Sale

Being effectively an indie dev that has gone into publishing, Chucklefish doesn't have a massive library of games. But there's still a few deals on some nice games.
Take a look at these deals:
- Starbound, Terraria IN SPACE!
- Halfway, a pixel-art, top-down turn-based strategy game where players must defend their colony ship from invasion.
Fast Paced Promo

Really strong bundle this one - a really good mix of AAA, indie and classic titles in the Fast Paced Promo.
A few to take a look at in this promo:
- Mafia Trilogy, featuring the Definitive Edition of all three Mafia games.
- Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered, the remastered version of what was at the time an absolutely pioneering game for destructible environments.
Surreal Horror Promo

I'm not really much for horror games, but there are a few games that are less horror, and more just fantastic games in the Surreal Horror Promo.
A selection of the games on offer that I'd be brave enough to try:
- Metro Franchise Bundle, less including the three Metro titles and the two DLCs for Metro Exodus. The Metro series is one I need to give a little more attention to, but the games feature fantastic, atmospheric, post-apocalyptic first person action.
- Phoenix Point: Complete Edition, which I think is a somewhat underrated turn-based tactics game which I'd describe as like XCOM but on a much larger scale.
Humble Bundle
Two bundles available over on Humble this week.
Sniper Elite: Classics Collection

The first time I picked Sniper Elite V2, I was completely mesmerised by how cool the Kill Cam was. As a result, I spent a significant amount of time trying to shoot enemy soldiers in the nuts.
The Sniper Elite: Classics Collection contains all five mainline Sniper Elite games (not including the most recent release Sniper Elite: Resistance.
The charity cut for this one goes to The Trevor Project, an organisation dedicated to suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ young people in America. Given the wholesale public funding cuts to support services of this nature, independent organisations like The Trevor Project are becoming all the #more important to LGBTQ+ young people.
Bundle Contents: Sniper Elite 5, Sniper Elite 4: Deluxe Edition, Sniper Elite 3, Sniper Elite 3 Season Pass, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, Sniper Elite
Dungeons & Dragons Classic Collection

I had to actually look into what this bundle was actually about, I'll be honest. But it's actually a really cool bundle of 1990s Dungeons & Dragons games published by SNEG Games.
While there's 13 titles listed as part of the bundle, some of the titles contain multiple D&D campaigns, so it should keep you going for quite some time!
This bundle benefits Covenant House, a charity which aims to support young people through homelessness.
Bundle Contents: Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection One, Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two, Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Three, Silver Box Classics, Dungeons & Dragons: Krynn Series, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun Series, Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft Series, Fantasy Empires, Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace, Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse, Dungeons & Dragons - Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator, DragonStrike, DeathKeep
Untold Tales: Indie Roulette Bundle

This one just snuck in before this story went live, and features a variety of quality indie games for you to get stuck into.
Among the titles on offer are:
- Everdream Valley, a cosy-looking, open world farming game, including some unique minigames to play through as well!
- Flame Keeper, a rogue-lite action game where players must fight to save a world overrun by darkness by restoring its eternal flame.
This bundle benefits the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals across the USA and Canada.
Bundle Contents: Everdream Valley, Frozenheim, Arise: A Simple Story, Flame Keeper, The Hong Kong Massacre, ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree, Mythic Ocean, What the Duck, Don't be Afraid, Golf Club Nostalgia
Sale Events
- Chill Out Cozy Games Sale: lots of games that are write up my alley in this sale. All three Two Point games are included, the Tropico series, Railway Empire 2 and Devolver Digital classic GRIS.
- Anno Franchise Sale: grab some discounts on the Anno series, as well as The Settlers, for some reason?
- Chucklefish Publisher Sale: if you'd prefer to buy your Chucklefish games from Humble rather than GOG, you can do that, too.
