Deals, Discounts & Bundles: 19th July 2025

Deals Jul 19, 2025

In the post-Summer Sale hangover, there's still a whole lot of deals to be had. Let's have a look at what's available this week!

Welcome to the first edition of Deals & Discounts. This is a curated list of just a few of the different deals available on the many different platforms and shopfronts available to get your games from. So let's get started!

Fanatical

There's almost enough here to give Fanatical its own article this week, as the company has launched the 2025 Bundle Bash, promising a new bundle daily between the 14th and 18th of July. And there's some pretty decent finds in there (and some pretty terrible ones too!)

RPG & Fantasy Bundle

The first cab of the rank is the Build Your Own RPG & Fantasy Bundle, which offers variety of 2D and 3D titles within the RPG and Fantasy genres (duh).

Titles of note being offered in this one are:

  • Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition and Hammerwatch II, a 2D topdown action-RPG where players journey to the depths of Castle Hammerwatch and beyond to aid ousted King Roland's resistance against a sinister foe.
  • TERRACOTTA, an action-adventure title where the player is placed in the role of a terracotta soldier within a Qin Dynasty Terracotta Army. After their army is placed under a curse, the player must fight to save the souls of their army comrades.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum, is also among the titles on offer, and perhaps for the low price of entry it might be worth a quick look.

Choices: Beloved Rapture, Hammerwatch II, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Dungeons of Chaos, Balrum, Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements, Transcedence Legacy - Voidswept, LunarLux, The Age of Decadence, Moonlighter: Complete Edition (Low Stock), Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition, Low Magic Age, Chronicon, Alchemist Adventure, Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga, Devil Spire, TERRACOTTA, Encased.

Super Strategy Bundle

Next up is the Build Your Own Super Strategy Bundle. This one is a mixture of real-time and turn-based strategy games along with a few colony-builder style games. There's a few fantastic games on offer in this bundle, which are worth the price of admission alone.

  • Terraformers is a colony/city builder which put players in the role of terraforming a procedurally generated Mars.
  • Airborne Kingdom is one of those rare unique takes on the city building genre that everyone needs to play. Build a city in the sky, with all the aerodynamic and physical challenges that brings!

Choices: Ancestors Legacy Complete Edition, AI War 2, Lords & VIlleins, Winter Falling: Battle Tactics, Skies above the Great War, Swarm Queen, Oxygen, Rome Invicta, War Mongrels, Airborne Kingdom, Thyria, Final Stardust: Cosmic Nexus, Dust Fleet, Terraformers, Necrosmith 2, A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition, Telepath Tactics Liberated

Shooter Bundle

Third release in Bundle Bash is the Build Your Own Shooter Bundle. There's definitely a slant toward horror and cyberpunk-inspired shooters, but there's a good variety in there.

My personal picks of the bunch:

Choices: Mother Hub, Zero Protocol, Hyper Demon, Ash & Adam's GOBSMACKED, AMID EVIL & DUSK Double Pack, DEAD TRASH, Stop Dead, Quartermain and the Cult of Cthulhu, SATAN, The Ascent: Cyber Edition Bundle, In Sound Mind, Hellpoint, Dread X Collection 5, Dread X Collection: The Hunt, RICO: London, Sylvio: Black Waters, SPRAWL, REAPER.

Arcade Bundle

The penultimate Bundle Bash offering is the Build Your Own Arcade Bundle. "Arcade" appears to be a fairly loose term here, as there's a good variety of different genres on offer.

A few of the interesting titles:

  • Turbo Golf Racing, which I played on YouTube way back in 2023. Players get to play golf... except with cars and beach balls. It's ridiculously chaotic fun.
  • Punch Club Deluxe Edition, boxing management/tycoon game with some pretty gorgeous pixel art aesthetics.

Choices: HARDCORE MECHA, Braid Anniversary Edition, Nocturnal, Quadroids (Low Stock), Fight School Simulator, DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing, Fight of Steel: Infinity Warrior, Cobra Kai Collection, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway Turbo Edition, Archaeogem, SpiderHeck, 9 Years of Shadows, River City Girls Zero (Low Stock), Lethal League Blaze, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix, Hell Pie, MARSUPILAMI - HOOBADVENTURE, Operation Wolf Returns: First Mission, Pumpkin Jack, Punch Club Deluxe Edition, Turbo Golf Racing

Rogue Souls Bundle

Last on the list of Bundle Bash drops is the Build Your Own Rogue Souls Bundle. This one mixes rogue- and souls-like games, as you might have guessed from the title. It's a little bit lower key this one - to be honest I'm not familiar with quite a few of the games on offer.

Here's a couple that I like the sound of:

  • Sodaman, a cyberpunk-deckbuilding-isometric-shooter where the player must fight to obtain the last of a precious resource in a world devoid of... carbonated drinks.
  • Rack and Slay, a roguelike dungeon crawler where players take on the role of... a billiard ball?

There's definitely some... interesting choices in this one I guess?

Unbreakable Bundle

Though not part of the Bundle Bash, the Build Your Own Unbreakable Bundle offers a pretty varied set of different choices, and it's selling fast!

My personal picks of the available games are:

  • Jurassic World Evolution 2 Deluxe Edition, where players get the chance to build their own Jurassic Park, hopefully avoiding making the same mistakes the original theme park designers made; and
  • Elite: Dangerous, a wide open massively-multiplayer experience that gives players the choice of how to blaze their trail in the galaxy.

There's plenty of other choices available in this bundle, but there's already a couple (as of the writing of this) that have sold out!

Choices: Jurassic World Evolution 2 Deluxe Edition, Streamer Life Simulator 2, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Knight (Low Stock), Elite: Dangerous, Fountains, Once Alive, Kingdom's Deck, Splodey, Moonlight Pulse, Clonizer, Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles, Takara Cards, Chernobylite Complete Edition (Sold Out), Operation: Tango (Sold Out)

Good Old Games

GOG.COM offered a (now finished) summer sale encore during the week, but the days of summer are now over.

Weekly Deals

Credit: GOG.COM

As always GOG's weekly deals have a few fantastic games at cracking prices. There's 243 games and DLC available, with some highlights including:

Call of Adventure Promo

Credit: GOG

There's some really smashing deals on this promo, including some really nice discounts on some pretty high quality games, a few of which I've played on portable. Highlights:

  • Kingdom Come Deliverance, where players take on the role of a blacksmith's son making their way through a massive open world after their village is slaughtered.
  • Rogue Legacy, a game I personally had lot of fun playing on portable. In this roguelite metroidvania players take on the role of a whole family of adventures trying to conquer a mysterious castle.
  • Arcade Paradise, what I call a parental disappointment simulator, where players take on management of a dilapidated coin laundromat from their father, and slowly turn it into a video game arcade.

Sci-Fi Promo

Another deal with some really brilliant games, and some not so brilliant games that I nonetheless enjoyed.

  • Kerbal Space Program, a brilliant space simulator that brought orbital physics to the masses. Also insanely moddable.
  • BATTLETECH Mercenary Collection, where players get to start and manage a mercenary company of mechwarriors during a brutal civil war. The game received very mixed reviews but I had a lot of fun with it regardless.
  • Star Trucker, Euro Truck Simulator, IN SPACE!

Casual & Fun Promo

Credit: GOG.COM

A lot of great light-hearted games on offer as part of the Casual & Fun Promo, including a few that I've really enjoyed across the years. Of the 616 games available, a few of my favourites are:

  • Alba, a really beautiful game about a girl doing her best to improve the environment when she visits her grandparents' island home on holiday.
  • Train Life - A Railway Simulator, a rail simulator where players get to start their own European company, drive trains, hire employees and transport passengers and freight across the map.
  • Overcooked! 2, a couch co-op experience as players and their friends try to keep a kitchen going in more and more chaotic settings and situations.

Hot Summer Nights

Credit: GOG.COM

Now that the (somewhat) wholesome, family friendly fun of summer sale is over, it's time for those summer nights (tell me more?)

The Hot Summer Nights Promo is all about adult-oriented games. While this genre of games isn't really my cup of tee, if it's yours there's plenty of deals on offer.

You can find certified Good Old Game Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded for 80% off, and highly rated False Myth for 30% off, among 324 discounts. So, if you're into this type of game, get to it, I guess?

Turn Based & Tactical

Credit: GOG.COM

Absolutely massive sale this one - Good Old Games have 891 (!!!) titles on offer as part of the Turn Based & Tactical Promo, including a few masterpieces!

My picks of the bunch are:

  • Loop Hero, a roguelike, deck building autobattler where players must restore their memory as they save the world from a time-loop caused by an evil Lich!
  • Disco Elysium, a fully voice-acted role-playing game where players must investigate a murder which turns out to be much more complicated than it initially seemed.
  • A smattering of certified Gold Old Games, including Worms Armageddon, X-Com and Heroes of Might and Magic 4.

If you're after some deep discounts on some DRM-free turn-based goodness, head on over to GOG to check it out!

Humble Bundle

A bit quiet on bundles front at the moment over at Humble, however there's a couple of franchise-based bundles out this week:

Devil May Cry: Devil Trigger Collection

Credit: Humble

Nice little bundle to fill out your games library if you only played the Devil May Cry on console (like I did). The series is well known for incredibly high-paced, acrobatic combat, and the gameplay loop served as a blueprint for other popular games and series such as Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Items Included: Devil May Cry 5 + Vergil DLC, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, Devil May Cry HD Collection, DmC: Devil May Cry.

Gear up for Borderlands 4: Borderlands X Wonderlands Bundle

Credit: Gearbox Software / 2K

Looking to jump into Borderlands 4 but need to catch up on the story so far? This bundle will fill out your collection and get you started. It's important to note this bundle includes the standard edition of all of the games, so you don't get any of the DLCs (but there's a sale event below to help you out there).

Items Included: Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2 VR, Borderlands 3, Tales from the Borderlands, New Tales From the Borderlands, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Chaotic Great Edition.

Sale Events

In addition to the usual bundle fare, Humble Bundle also has a selection of sale events on this week. Here's a few:

  • Square Enix Summer Sale: for Square Enix, summer is apparently kicking on. And in comparison to Ghost Recon's sale, this one provides quite the selection of options. You've got most of the Final Fantasy, Life is Strange, and Just Cause series to choose from among a lot of other titles. My personal picks out of the bunch would be Octopath Traveller, whose beautiful mix of low-fi 3D and sprite-based graphics just made my heart sing, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, my favourite of the Final Fantasy series (controversial I know!), and Just Cause 2, which I'll always fondly remember for how absolutely beautiful the mountains of Panau looked on my PS3.
  • Borderslands X Wonderlands DLC Sale: to go along the the pretty impressive Borderlands bundle, Humble is also offering a sale on a large variety of DLC for each of the games within the bundle.
  • SuperHeroic Sale, which is honestly a little bit a muddled sale. Find within a small assortment of different superhero games, as well as few sport and even tycoon games.
  • 2K Publisher Sale: this one has a very large range of 2K-published games at pretty discounted prices. Find good deals across the BioShock, XCOM, Civilization and Mafia franchises among many other discounts.

Round Up

As you can still, there's still a lot of deals happening in the post-Summer Sale lull.

What other storefronts would you like to see included as part of this article?
