Hollow Knight: Silksong Breaks Pretty Much Every Platform it Launches on

Hollow Knight: Silksong at long last launched on Thursday. And the long delay in the game reaching users seemingly did nothing to dampen enthusiasm for the release.

Users reported issues purchasing the game on Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, Humble and more as seemingly the entire internet struggled to deal with the traffic.

Amazon's Live Action Tomb Raider Series Kicking on, With Sophie Turner Confirmed as Lara Croft

After a fair bit of hot and cold news on the project over previous years, it's now more or less confirmed that Amazon will be moving forward with their live action Tomb Raider series, with Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) releasing a statement that she is "thrilled beyond measure to be playing Lara Croft".

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is still attached to write and run the show, which is said to be beginning filming in January next year.

...But Netflix's Animated Series is Not

I had a lot of fun with the first season of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, Netflix's animated series adaptation of the franchise. I found Hayley Atwell's voice acting to be fantastic, and I enjoyed the more psychological look into how Lara operates.

The second season of the series is landing in December, and unfortunately has been confirmed to be its final season, too.

IO Interactive's 007 First Light

At the Sony State of Play last week, Sony and IO showed off a chunk of gameplay for upcoming James Bond licensed game 007 First Light, as well as confirming a release date of 27th March 2026.

First Light will explore a brand new origin story for James Bond, and will follow him from his recruitment and training as he works towards becoming the most legendary spy of all.
