Bizarre Medieval/Gun Game Kingmakers Gets Last Minute Delay
Kingmakers, a game that promised to pit horses and medieval weaponry against assault rifles and attack helicopters, has copped a last minute delay.
Developer Redemption Road has announced that the game, scheduled to launch on 8th October 2025, is now indefinitely delayed. In a statement released on steam, the developer stated that they "need a bit more time on content polish before we feel good charging money for it".
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Cops 50% Price Hike
Customers of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass have gotten a rude shock, with the pricing for the PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate plans increasing substantially.
Those on the Ultimate plan have seen their pricing increase by 50% ($19.99 USD to $29.99). Those on the PC plan cop a slightly smaller increase of 40% ($11.99 USD to $16.49).
Game Pass has represented a reasonably strong value offering for those gaming on Microsoft platforms, but there's already been some anger in the community over such a substantial increase.
Manor Lords Gets New Update, Dev Apologies for Radio Silence
Medieval city builder Manor Lords has received its first update since January, bringing new game modes, a new production chain, and the tweaking and expansion of many existing game mechanics as well.
Despite the large scale of the update, the game's creator Greg Styczeń nonetheless apologised for the long delay.
