Fediverse Dev MenacingMecha Releases N64 Throwback Y2ROLL

Every so often you see a game that is just really neat. Y2ROLL is a game from Fediverse user MenacingMecha that throws back to the old days of N64 and PS1-era games. In it, players finds themselves in control a marble, just trying to roll towards its goal. There's no complex grand narrative, and that's okay.

The really special part of this game I think is the clear effort the dev's put into creating a shader that is truly reminiscent of playing a 90s game on your little old 4:3 CRT screen, and I think it's particularly successful in replicating the look of an N64 game.

Lenovo Legion Go 2 Allegedly Leaked After Factory Closure

After a Lenovo factory closure, it appears some early samples of the Lenovo Legion Go 2 are surfacing on the second hand market in China. The sample, cited on multiple Reddit posts appears to be outfitted with a Ryzen Z2 CPU, 32GB RAM and a massive 2TB SSD.

While the Z2 CPU features a signficantly less powerful iGPU than the recently announced Asus ROG Xbox Ally X's Z2 Extreme, comments from a user who claims to have one of the sample units indicate that there are also Z2 Extreme models available on the second hand market.

The 32GB RAM should allow users to dedicate more of their system RAM to the GPU which may lead to increased performance depending on which iGPU is used.

No pricing has been released as of yet, but if the Ally is anything to go by, it may well be an expensive purchase.

Amazon Working on Wolfenstein TV Series

According to Variety, Amazon is currently working on a TV adaptation of Wolfenstein. It's unknown how far into development the series is, or which actors are attached to project at this stage (if any). The tagline of the series was reported to be "The Story of Killing Nazis is Evergreen".

If it goes ahead, this would be the second Bethesda property developed into a TV series by Amazon, after the success of the first season of the Fallout TV series last year.
