Chicken Jockey 2?! Minecraft Movie Sequel in the Works
Warner Bros. have announced a sequel to A Minecraft Movie is in the works, with a simple quote on the A Minecraft Movie Twitter account simply stating:
Building terrain. See you in theaters July 23, 2027.
No other details, including who (if any) of the first movie's cast will be returning, were announced.
Discord Data Breach Sees 70,000 Government IDs Exfiltrated
Discord has announced that third party service provider 5CA, which Discord has contracted to manage age verification as part of the compliance with the UK Online Safety Act, has been a victim of a data breach which has resulted in around 70,000 government ID documents, including photos, being exfiltrated.
The company has stated that no financial information of on-platform messages were compromised as part of the breach.
Nintendo Keeps Suing People, Now Targeting Reddit Mods
Nintendo have filed a suit in a Washington, USA court against James "Archbox" Williams, alleging the reddit user was involved in the promotion and distribution of Nintendo Switch piracy to the /r/SwitchPirates/ community and beyond.
Nintendo are seeking $4.5 million in damages from Williams, though they state that the amount they are seeking is "nowhere near an amount" that would adequately compensate Nintendo for the user's conduct.

The latest edition of Steam Next Fest, a promotion featuring demos and discounts on upcoming games, is landing on the 13th October 2025.

Cities: Skylines II's Bridges and Ports Expansion Finally Getting a Release Date
After what seems like an age of delays and technical issues, Colossal Order have finally released a trailer for Cities: Skylines II's first major expansion, Bridges and Ports, alongside a release date of 29th October 2025.
The short trailer showcases a number of new bridge designs, including a cool looking, modern lift bridge, as well as sprawling ports.
